Our Story

Hey, I’m Dohaa — the founder of TradeInGuy.

Since I was 14, I’ve always been obsessed with one thing: trading. Turning $10 into $20. Finding smart ways to create value.

In 2020, I cycled across Japan, pushing myself through 3,000 kilometers of mountains, oceans, and forests. That journey taught me two things:

  • The power of real human connection
  • And the importance of protecting nature

After college, I made the biggest decision of my life — skip the 9-to-5 and follow my dream. I flew from Tokyo, Japan to the U.S. with only $1,500 in my bank.

 

The first person I met? Kelly Wakasa — a creator with over 1.5 million subscribers. Inspired, I began a journey across America without money, relying only on the kindness of strangers.

In the end, I met Airrack, one of the biggest YouTubers in the world.

That trip changed everything.

In 2025, I took what I learned and launched TradeInGuy — a place where people can get used smartphones with no issues, 30% cheaper than Apple or Samsung, and backed by a real 3-month warranty.
